Activities of Bhagavata Mela Vidhyalaya
Vidyalaya as part of planetary youth festival on a Transcontinental platform interacting with youth leaders across the globe for socio economic transformation through Arts. Swati Sunderraj, Melattur and Prabitha Balasubramaniam, USA were panelists, part of the International forum on Youth Planetary peace and well being organised by Learning Planet and Home for Humanity, Geneva and France.

Vidyalaya yet again performed Andal Thiruppavai at Avvai Kottam Thiruvaiyaru in the divine presence of Dharmapuram Aadheenam Swamigal for Margazhi Mahotsav 2026, Commemorating his 60th birthday.
On the 15th of March, Bhagavata Mela Vidyalaya achieved a significant milestone as the art and culture wing of Tamil Nadu government, Tamil Nadu Iyal Isai Nadaka Manram rendered financial aid to present Thirumoolar Charitram, as part of the Manram’s innovative dance drama production scheme. The event was done at centuries old Thiruveezhimilalai temple, under Thiruvaduthurai Mutt . The chief invitees were Kannan Adigalar, Dr Uma Maheshwari, Local social community heads with event cordinatex by Dr Kalaivendan, Avvai kottam, Thiruvaiyaru. About 45 students from Melattur, Thiruvaiyaru, Thirumanoor and Bengaluru were part of the grand event.
On 24th March 2026, Vidyalaya presented Valli Kalyanam at the unique somasipadi Murugar temple near Thiruvannamalai.
Thirupani Semmal Smt Mahalakshmi Subramanian and Sri Pichandi Ayya, Ex Commissioner of Temples, Thiruvannamalai were in praise of the unique presentation of Vidyalaya.

Priyamvadha Murali was conferred the Nanda Deepam award in memory of Pujyasri Mathioli Saraswathi Amma on the 21st of March 2026 commemorating International Women’s day 2026 at Indian Institute of World Culture, Bengaluru. Disciples from Bengaluru and Melattur were part of this auspicious event. Nanda Vasundara ji handed over the Award on behalf of the senior trustees of Nandala Seva Samithi that recognised the services of Priyamvadha Murali.

Bhagavata Mela Vidyalaya was yet again part of the annual Chaitrotsavam at Aiyarrapar Sannidhi, Thiruvaiyaru. About 15 students including those from Dr VGN school Melattur, Avvai Kottam Thiruvaiyaru and Thirumanoor participated portraying compositions of saints hailing the Significance of Thiruvaiyaru. Immense Blessings were sent from Dharmapuram Aadheenam for this sacred event, also covered by press.Sr Kalaivendan also gave a Stirring oration on Saint Sundarar.
Honoured at Saliamangalam Bhagavata Mela 2026 for their 381st year . Vidyalaya disciples experienced interactions with Legendary artists and Bhagavatas that enriched their artistic pursuits
Priyamvadha Murali and Dr. R Murali were guest of Honour for Ramana Maharshi Centre of learning for their Summer camp valedictory function on May 7th At Ramana Heritage Auditorium, Bengaluru. The services of the chief guests were well received and acknowledged at the fulfilling event

Vidyalaya as part of the grand Vaikasi Visaka Brahmotsavam at Melattur Unnathapureshwarar Sivapriya ambigai temple. Natyanjali was organised by Melattur Brahma Samaj Charitable Trust.
Kyathi, disciple of Lasya Mela Laya, made us all proud. She set an example as how art can transform an individual overcoming health Challenges! Winner of titles at Miss Teen, World Wide, Andhra Pradesh. Best National Costume, Best Personality, Best Introduction!

Bhagavata Mela Vidyalaya was invited to perform at Adhi Shakthi Petam , Thirubhuvanam, Kumbakonam, TN ..a holy Sanctum with 18 Siddhars installed ..it was an event commemorating the 76 th year of Siddhar Kannan Adigalar..The assembled audiences included leading art connoisseurs and art supporting community of the place who were overwhelmed with the presentation of Thirumoolar by Vidyalaya and Avvai kottam students. A huge audience of more than 500 people with a rousing reception for the sequences presented.
Vidyalaya was invited to offer and present paper on their unique Navasandhi Natya Aradhana at the National Cohort Natya Shastra Gurukulam led by It’s director Sri Rohit Vishwanath in Mumbai collaboration with Aatmalaya director Dr Padmaja Suresh, Bengaluru. The two days event included scholars, speakers and dancers from across the country. Vidyalaya’s presentation was received with much critical acclaim and appreciation. Guru Kalyanasundaram Pillai gave his abundant blessings for the endeavours of Vidyalaya.

On the 18/19 of July 2026 disciples of Vidyalaya and Lasya Mela Laya set on yet another historic journey to Rishikesh to offer Thirumoolar Thirumandirams Natya Natakam on the banks of Ganges. The event was organised by Sivaneri neri Thirutondar Dr Uma Maheshwari, as part of a week long camp on Thirumoolar at Swami Dayanand Saraswathi Ashram, Rishikesh.
The presentation of Vidyalaya was very well received by assembled audience who were well read with the timeless literature of Saiva Siddhantha.
Vidyalaya’s also made historic trips to Haridwar, Kunja Devi Shakthi peeth and Deva Prayag.

On August 2 nd 2026, Vidyalaya offered the sacred Thiruthondar thogai , summarising the 63 Nayanmarss at the very Holy Sanctum it was rendered by Saint Sundarar. An audience of more than 1500 Shiva Adiyars (Siva devotees) gathered came together to give an rousing applause for the presentation of Vidyalaya.
On August 10th, Dharmasamvardhini Kuram a composition of V S Valambal Chennai , 1915 publish, tuned and sung by Aiyaru Rajeshwari. Disciples of Vidyalaya and Avvai kottam Thiruvaiyaru Thirumanoor under 12 presented the kuram folk with cauvery saagara sangamam.
Thirumoolar Gurupeetam Adiyars were overwhelmed with the divinity engulfing the whole dance drama and honoured every single young participant
On August 9th, Vidyalaya presented two pioneering compositions and choreography.
At Srirangam Prahladha Pattabhishekam followed by Chenchu Lakshmi Ahobila Narasimha Kalyana vaibogam..some of the music written and sung by Kamakshi Muthkrishnan( script) and Aiyaru Rajeshwari( music). Yet again Acharya Khandadai Srinivasa Anna of Veli Andal sannidhi showered his abundant blessings and wishes for the disciples.
